Biomarker analysis using monolithic integrated multiplexing micro-opto-fluidics

PLC Diagnostics Inc. developed a novel, rapid diagnostic testing platform for sensitive, robust, inexpensive and simple detection of molecular biomarkers.
This new platform is based on novel microarray chip technology that replaces the expensive laser scanning. Use is made of an array with a monolithic integrated intersecting grid of 100 µm wide planar integrated optical waveguides.
