LioniX B.V. appoints Jay Walker Consultancy as an agent for the US
LioniX - a leading provider of development, production and supply services in integrated optics and microfluidics, has appointed JayWalker Technical Consulting as their representative in the United States of America.
LioniX is a manufacturer of microsystems for OEM customers, based on integrated optics and microfluidics. LioniX provides design, prototyping, and manufacturing of microsystems and specializes in optical planar waveguides for telecom and sensor applications for high added value, innovative components and (sub)systems for applications in Telecom, Industrial Process Control and Life Sciences. In particular its proprietary siliconoxynitride (SiON) technology is suitable for the manufacturing of these devices. SiON is compatible with active waveguiding materials (such as ZnO) and has the advantage of generating small sized planar waveguides, so reducing component costs.
LioniX also offers assembly and packaging and fiber-to-chip coupling. Its 'design for manufacturing' strategy of microsystems reduces time to market and project costs.
JayWalker Technical Consulting provides its clients with world-class expertise in MEMS device and process development, optical telecommunications systems and devices, opto-electronic packaging, and intellectual property matters. It’s founder and president, James Walker, has over 18 years of experience in the MEMS and telecommunications areas and has contributed pioneering work to MEMS and opto-electronic device technology.
