Fiber Array Unit - Fiber to Chip Couplings

For coupling light to integrated optical devices, we combine micromachining technology with integrated waveguide technology. The crystallographic properties of monocrystaline silicon enable the fabrication of V-grooves with high density and very precize dimensional control of about 1 micron. Fiber-to-chip couplings fabricated in this way are suitable for IO-sensing applications with passive alignment .
